Q : How can I make my own designs?
A : To be able to make your own designs you need two things, one, a varied imagination and second, the right tools to give shape to your ideas. If you are a beginner, then Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Imagestyler are the best tools for you. They are both easy to learn and operate. You may need to spend a little time exploring it first, but once you know your way around, you can easily make your own graphics.
Q : How do I use the graphics in my mails?
A : If you are an Outlook Express user, first click on format > background > picture. Go to the directory you have saved the image onto and click ok.
If you use Netscape Navigator, then right click with your mouse on the page. You will see the background option, go to the directory you have saved the image onto and click ok.
Q : Sometimes the graphics do not fill my screen, it leaves a gap length wise.
A : This is because your monitor resolution may be set to 1024 by 768 pixels. Change it to 800 by 600 pixels and the image will fit your screen. To change the settings, right click with your mouse on desktop, properties > settings and change screen width.
Q : I am not able to open zipped images.
A : You need a zip extracting software, WinZip is the most popular.
Q : I do not have MP3 Player, how can I listen to the audio I downloaded?
A : You need not have an MP3 Player, you can use the audio utility your windows has. Click on start > programs > Accessories. Go to 'Entertainment' and click on 'Windows Media Player (you may need to upgraded to the latest version from their website: http://www.microsoft.com/isapi/redir.dll?prd=mediaplayer&pver=5.2&ar=home ). Open the file you want to listen to and it will play it.
Q : How can I set an image as my desktop background?
A : Right click with your mouse anywhere on desktop. Go to properties, click on browse and select your desired image.
Q : I want my computer to play specific ayahs/surahs while it is starting up and shutting down, how do I do this?
A : Click on the Start button and go to Control Panel. Here you will see a 'sounds' icon, click on it. Under events click on 'Start Windows' or 'End Windows'. Click on browse and select the audio file you want your computer to play.
